Lukas brings 16 years of martial arts training and 11 years of yoga and meditation practice to Online Dojo Workout. His martial arts experience spans Taekwondo, Krav Maga, Kempo and Muay Thai, with breakdancing informing his understanding of movement. He has taught private martial arts for eight years and has led group breakdance instruction.

He developed Sattva Vithi, his integrated approach to martial arts, yoga, meditation and lifestyle practice. His self-defense teaching combines striking, kicking, positioning, grappling concepts and practical movement. Yoga and wellness sessions draw on yogasanas, vinyasa, pranayama, breath awareness, guided visualization and contemplative practices, with Sanskrit terminology used where relevant.

Lukas founded and leads his own yoga and wellness studio. His teaching has included online and in-person sessions, video tutorials and corporate wellness workshops for groups of about 10 to 50. He completed Bodsphere’s 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training Program in March 2025.

Sessions are delivered through Google Meet, using full-body camera framing. He can review trainee-submitted videos, record demonstrations, share his screen and provide written feedback. Session recording can be discussed on request.

He welcomes complete beginners through advanced practitioners in many services. Self-defense and advanced meditation work may require an initial conversation about experience, suitability and safe participation. His strongest fit is a trainee interested in practical self-defense or a practitioner seeking to integrate movement, reflection and personal growth. He favors consistent one-to-one work while offering group formats.

Lukas’s Guiding Philosophy

Faith in the trainee. Precision in the cue. Wude in the practice.

Lukas believes clear demonstrations, careful listening and an encouraging relationship help trainees progress across the limits of a screen. His views on trainer collaboration and advancement reflect his personal philosophy; program decisions remain with Online Dojo Workout.

Belief in Growth

Consistent effort deserves patient, genuine encouragement.

Practical Feedback

A clear cue or a better camera angle can unlock a movement.

Martial Virtues

Respect, honesty, kindness and self-belief are practiced by example.

An effective online martial arts guide leads first and foremost with faith in their trainee — not a faith contingent on what can be seen through a camera, but a deep, enduring belief that any student who keeps applying themselves can one day achieve mastery. A good guide demonstrates movements correctly, clearly, and calmly, listens carefully to what trainees are experiencing, and draws on a genuine understanding of anatomy and precise language to help movements click. Sometimes a single well-chosen cue — like instructing a student struggling with a roundhouse kick to turn their front foot 90 degrees outward — can unlock what longer explanations cannot. The limitations of online visibility are practical problems with practical solutions: asking trainees to reposition themselves or their camera to reveal different angles. Encouragement should be passionate and genuine, compliments well-placed, and competency in the martial art itself is non-negotiable.

A good online dojo leans into the real strength of the format — its ability to make a wide diversity of martial styles accessible to the entire world — while honestly acknowledging its limitations. In my view, a community among trainers could grow through Zoom calls, a shared video archive for studying one another’s techniques, exchanges of martial philosophy and lineage, a trainer forum or group chat, and opportunities to co-host classes. This community would help trainers collaborate in guiding trainees effectively. Trainees may develop better with one primary trainer, though that choice should remain their own. Student quizzes can serve as feedback for both trainees and trainers.

Trainer vetting should respect the diversity of martial lineages and the evolution of styles across generations. Rather than relying solely on standardized testing, a skill demonstration video can help dojo management and prospective trainees make informed judgments. In my view, advancement should reflect the style: where an established test exists, it offers a natural milestone; in styles without such tests, a trainer’s informed assessment of form, stamina and attitude can guide progress.

A constructive trainee shows up actively and intentionally — focused, passionate yet calm, willing to ask as many questions as needed, and motivated not only to meet goals but also to understand themselves more deeply. The foundation of meaningful participation is Wude, the martial virtues: respect, honesty, kindness, self-belief and belief in others. This is a lifelong commitment, and trainees arrive at different points along that path. Some may struggle with shyness, discouragement, self-doubt or focus. The trainer’s role is to nurture growth patiently and to lead by example, embodying the virtues they teach.

Prepare for Your Session

1. Set up your camera for full-body demonstration and leave enough clear space for the activity.

2. Use suitable training equipment for any weapons foundations; online sessions do not include supervised sparring or partner drills.

3. For trainees ages 12–15, arrange parental guidance. Discuss advanced meditation or breathwork preparation and suitability before booking.

Pause activity if pain, discomfort or other concerns arise. Lukas does not offer remote firearm defense, knife defense or advanced sickle work.
